In the August of the 2007 she announced her new fashion range called `The Glass House`, a range which primarily endorses use of transparent fabrics and pastel colours including Light pinks, sky blues, pista greens and misty greys. The collection is duly noted for the abundant use of gold and silver geometric prints on light fabrics such as chiffon, georgette, silk-lurex, cotton-lurex, and linen and satin.

Bhartiya said of the range: "I have called my collection `The Glass House` as glass and transparent embellishments have been extensively used while endorsing the silhouettes", she said.

The silhouettes she drapes and she creates retain a structured frame of mind, yet imbibing something for everybody, from the cocoon to the sheath she added.
