Rankini Temple in Ghatshila is a temple of archeological importance, situated in Jadugora of Potka block. The temple of Rankini was formerly situated on a rock where human sacrifices used to be offered to her, the belief being that the Goddess herself killed the victims.
The priests who offer the puja this temple are mainly belonged from the Bhumij Tribe. This temple is one of the most important spot as a pilgrimage site and also for the natural beauty. It is because the temple is located in the midst of the dense tropical forest of Chota Nagpur Plateau. This temple is also known as Kapadgadhi Ghat.
