Saverkar Ganapati Mandir is a popular temple of Lord Ganesha situated at Ganesha Bhavan in Vadodara (Baroda), Gujarat. The much venerated shrine is exclusively devoted to the elephant-faced Hindu deity. Ganapati Buwa Maharaj (Vasudev Sadashiv Mhaskar) performed a strict penance and pleased the Lord. He was granted an idol from the deity. Later he went to a pilgrimage to Saver in Madhya Pradesh. He realized that the region was well connected with Ujjain, Indore, Kashi and Rameshwar. Thus he sanctified the idol and installed it there and constructed a Ganesha temple.
The Saverkar Ganapati Mandir in Vadodara is the offshoot of the Saver temple. Several festivals are celebrated in the temple, such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Bhadrapad, Vaisakhi Poornima and others. The shrine is well connected with the Vadodara Airport and the Vadodara Junction Railway Station.
