Bishwanath Chariali, which harbours Monabari, Asia`s largest tea estate, is a town in Sonitpur District of Assam.

Biswanath Chariali is one of the major towns of the Sonitpur District in the state of Assam. It is at a distance of 75 km from Tezpur and 255 km from Guwahati.
The town is celebrated for its expansive tea estates. The Monabari tea estates, which is located here, is Asia's largest tea estate. The places to visit in and around this town are Bishwanath Temple, Borola Stone, Bhaluk Gossain Temple, Agriculture College and Pratapgarh (set up by Pratap Singha). The Naag Sankar, a place very famous for ancient temples, is at a distance of 15 km away.
