The census town of Birwadi is in the Raigarh district in the state of Maharashtra in India. According to the census of 2001, the town records a population of 7271, including 54% males, 46% females and 16% children below 6 years. Overall 75% of the people are literate; the male literacy being 80% and the female literacy being 68%. This is quite higher than the national average liyeracy rate, which amounts to 59.5%.
