Damodar Kund is one of the most revered sacred pond in which thousands of devotees take a sacred bath before they go for worshipping the famous shrine of Damodarji. This kund is placed at the foot hills of Girnar Hills. The kund is closely located near the Revati kund. The Revati Kund as well as the Damdar kund attracts the local people due to the local legends attached to them. Revati kund was established when Devi Revati left Dwarka and resided at Girnar Hill after her daughter of Devi Revati married Lord Balaram. Similarly Damodar Kund is located at the foot hills of the Aswathama hills situated in the north of the Damodarji temple. Popularly this is place is known for its purity and sanctity which was built by Vajranabha, the great grand son of Lord Krishna.
