Mughal Architecture in Lucknow was the most dominant style of construction in the city. Even after the decline of Muslim rule, the Mughal architectural style continued to exist in combination with other prevailing Islamic styles. Mughal architecture of Lucknow is seen in the various monuments found strewn here. Apart from this, it is also clearly deciphered in the architectural layout of the city which was a largely Mughal initiative.
