Shankhodhar Shankhodhar is an inhabited island at mouth of Gulf of Kutch. It is situated 3 km off the coast of Okha. Shankhodhar Island is measured northwest to southeast in 13 km with an average 4 km in east-west direction. It is a strip of sand and stone situated 30 km north of town of Dwarka. Lakshadweep Lakshadweep is a group of islands over 200 to 440 kilometres off the south western coast of India. The archipelago is a Union Territory and is governed by the Union Government of India. Aminidivi subgroup of islands and the Laccadive subgroup of islands are both the subgroups having a submarine connection between them through Pitti Bank. Elephanta Island Elephanta Island is one of a number of islands in Mumbai Harbour, east of Mumbai. It is a popular tourist destination because of the island's cave temples, Elephanta Caves that have been carved out of rock. Pamban Island Pamban Island also called Rameswaram Island is an island located between India and Sri Lanka. This island is famous for Pamban Bridge. Srirangam Island Srirangam Island is a river island in the city of Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. It is formed by the river Kaveri and the Kollidam, a tributary of the Kaveri. The island is 19 miles in length and 1.5 miles wide. Vypeen Vypeen Island is one of a group of islands that form part of the city of Kochi, in the south-western Indian state of Kerala.
