IIFA Awards or International Indian Film Academy Awards is an esteemed award ceremony in which the International Indian Film Academy honours the professionals of Hindi film industry for their technical and artistic excellence by presenting them various awards. The event was introduced in the year 2000 and since then it is organized at varied places all over the globe. Through years IIFA Awards have greatly helped in the promotion of Indian cinema at international level. The event continues for three days during which awards are presented under various categories as recognition to the contributions of film personalities in different cinematic fields.
15th IIFA Awards
15th IIFA Award ceremony was organized from 23rd to 26th April 2014 for commemorating the best films of the year 2013. The event took place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, in the United States and was co-anchored by the Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar. Some of the Bollywood films in 2013 received great appreciations for appealing dialogues, the credit of which goes to the eminent dialogue writers. In 2014 Prasoon Joshi walked away with the IIFA Award for Best Dialogue for penning the dialogues for the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

Prasoon Joshi is a renowned Indian film lyricist and screen writer who has been honoured with the National Film Award twice. His association with several popular advertisements earned him the title of 'advertising guru of India'. His work in the biographical sports drama film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has met overwhelming critical and commercial appreciations.
