Anu Agarwal born on January 11, 1969 is a model turned Bollywood actress. Agarwal was born in New Delhi in 1969. She was born into a Punjabi family although she grew up in Chennai.
Anu came into fame after the release of the film Ashiqui, where she was paired opposite Rahul Roy, a new comer. This film was a musical hit, but did not hit the box office much. However, after this film, Anu Agarwal became a known face in Bollywood. She got some movie offers after that, but very few of them were substantial enough. Eventually, she came up with some bold scenes in the film "The Cloud Door" (1995) directed by Mani Kaul. After 1996, Anu Agarwal shifted her attention on to South Indian films. After doing few films, she quit acting and disappeared from the industry. She once had a car accident where she had considerable injuries and since then started to focus herself on yoga and is currently running a yoga school.
