Iravati is the wife of the Rudra Bhava according to the Bhagavata.

Iravati is also the name of the mother of Airavata, the elephant of Indra, which is elsewhere said to have been produced at the churning of the milk sea. Iravati is a daughter of Kadru and granddaughter of the sage Kashyapa. Iravati is also associated with a sacred river.
