In the Puranas Mitravrinda is said to be one of the seven beautiful wives of Lord Krishna. The other wives were Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati, Kalindi, Nagnajiti and Lakshana.
Mitravrinda also known as Satya was the fifth wife of Krishna. She was the sister of the Kings of Avantipura. Shri Krishna married Mitravrinda defeating her brothers Vinda and Anuvinda.
