S1 TV is a 24-hour Hindi news channel. It was launched in the year 2005 with the view to bring the best of journalism, keeping the human outlook and interests intact. This was an initiative of Senior Media Limited owned by Vijay Dixit. Mr.Dixit is the chief Managing Director of the Senior Group.
The channel is a Delhi based National Hindi news channel. The channels integrity and innovative approach has created an enviable space among the forerunners in the industry. Supported by a highly cohesive team of reporters, producers and presenters, a constantly attentive and supportive management and state of the art technology, S1 has been able to keep its spirit and performance high, maintaining its ever-increasing audience and enviable market ratings.
Recently, in the year 2006, S1 selected Wasp'3D technology, as its primary requirement was a virtual studio that can provide great-looking news sets and backdrops that can be changed frequently without having to build an actual set everyday. Wasp'3D provided S1 with a technologically advanced virtual studio that overcomes the limitations of the commonly used virtual sets. The channel will also benefit from Wasp'3D's PgP (Programmable palette) Technology for on-air studio graphics.
