![]() Synopsis of Humko Deewana Kar Gaye The Bollywood movie ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’ tells the love story of ‘Aditya’ and ‘Jia’. ‘Aditya’, played by Akshay Kumar is an automobile engineer in a car company. He is very passionate about his cars. Not only is he an engineer, but also a test driver for the company. A post like that can explain how well he could drive. He is engaged with ‘Sonia’ played by Bipasha Basu. She is a fashion designer. But the two hardly look as if made for each other. As individuals, Aditya and Sonia were not on the same wavelength. For Sonia, her career comes first. She is a good looking woman with a cold heart. Though the marriage date is fixed, Aditya had to leave for Canada to learn about the technique of a new car model, to be launched in India. Sonia also had to leave for a fashion show at Paris. ![]() ![]() Eventually Sonia gets an assignment with Karan Oberoi, and she and Aditya get invited to his wedding. Sonia is the designer of Jia's wedding dress. The wedding takes place with great pomp and ceremony, it is then Aditya and Jia are introduced to each other. They meet, confess their love and agree never to meet again. But Karan catches them talking. While Aditya was leaving the wedding, he finds Jia in a car accident. Aditya manages to help Jia get out of the car. Karan changes his mind after realising Aditya’s love for Jia and tells Jia to marry Aditya, and the movie ends with both of them hugging.
