The Yelahanka Air Force Station is situated in Yelahanka (in the Indian state of Karnataka. Yelahanka is a suburb of Bangalore earlier conceived as a satellite town of Bangalore city, but now is part of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike). It is an Indian Air Force base. The airbase was established with the intension of training pilots to fly transport planes. The Yelahanka Air Force Station also follows up type-conversion of navigators on the Antonov An-32. At premier training institutions like the Air Force Academy and the Air Force Technical College, passing-out parades are carried out according to routine during 'exhibition formation fly-pasts'. The Yelahanka Air Force Station also undertakes logistics support tasks that are administered by Air HQs and HQ TC. Every year, an air show is organised to draw in companies from all over the world.
