Rameshwaram Shiva Temple is located in Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar district of Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. Due to certain inexplicable reasons, the temple was closed a few years back, only to reopen its doors in 1990.
Significance of Rameshwaram Temple
The importance of the temple lies in the fact that it shares the same wall with a Gurdwara. There are several mosques nearby. ‘Shivaratri’ is the key festival celebrated here.
