Kalesvara Mudra is a posture of the hands to channel and direct energy in the body, mind and soul. It is dedicated to the lord of time. This mudra is powerful and can calm the mind and can change character traits for the betterment. Kalesvara Mudra can be practiced by anyone who desires for a positive change. It can be rehearsed for as long as twenty minutes a day.
Practice of Kalesvara Mudra
The middle fingers of both hands should touch at the tips. The first two joints of the index finger and the thumbs should touch.
The little finger and the ring finger should be bent inwards. The thumbs should be pointed towards the chest and the elbows spread out on the outside.
Inhale and exhale slowly about ten times.
Observe the breath and lengthen the pauses slowly after both inhalation and exhalation.
