Diversified flora and fauna that abounds the Saatkosia gorge is the key interest of the Saatkosia gorge. The tranquility of the place, sometimes broken by the sweet chirpings of the birds, enchants the tourist visiting here.

The Baisipalli sanctuary, abounds with wide range of flora and fauna borders the Mahanadi River along the Saatkosia gorge which also includes the Gharial Crocodile Sanctuary of Tikerapara attracts a vast chunk of tourists.
