Located at the western end of M G Road, Indore , Madhya Pradesh , a splendid statue of Bada Ganapati , measuring 25 feet in height, is the biggest statue of Ganesha in the world.
The Bada Ganapati statue has been built with a queer admixture of materials like bricks, limestone, jaggery mix, soil collected from seven Mokshapuri, powder of five atnas and water from sacred rivers. The appeal of the Bada Ganapati statue comes from the fact that its metallic frame is made up of gold, silver, copper, iron and brass. The Bada Ganapati statue is brightly coloured in orange.
