With Kavita Barjatya shouldering the responsibilities of the media company at such a tender is evident of the fact that direction, camera or production is in their genres. The first serial that was produced by the Rajshri Productions was a 24 episodically titled 'Paying Guest' in the year 1984. Their second venture is 'Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki'. They are also credited for making some of the Bollywood blockbusters like 'Maine Pyar Kiya', 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' and others, which had left the Indian audience spellbound. According to the words of Kavita Barjatya, "any content that is generated from Rajshari has to be about culture, family and values". Being a part of a joint family she has inculcated in her all the traditional values that forms the treasure of the glorious Indian culture. But at the same time she does not want to make the typical 'saans'bahu' flicks so characteristic of the Ekta Kapoor family entertainers. She seems to be extremely confident about her recent shows. In the recently broadcasted show 'Pyar Ke Do Naam-Ek Radha Ek Shyam' she concluded "Since my subject is on reincarnation, the leaps have to be rebirth leaps. Viewers want to see a new face take over after a while. It's a healthy trend. It keeps both the makers and the viewers on their toes".
Kavita Barjatya herself is a graduate from the Sydenham College with distinction marks and has also assisted Suraj Barjatya in his Bollywood venture, 'Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon'. In a recent interview based on her television experiences she claimed that television has to be louder than the films as it is targeted at all the members of the family who like to catch up some good shows in their hours of relaxation from the daily chores. Her admirers are really waiting to watch whether this talented soul would be able to make it big on the small screen.
