Dhruv Bhandari, the son of the veteran actor Mohan Bhandari is all set to make his debut in television with the to-be-launched show 'Sixxer' by Manish Goswami. He is very excited about his debut in television and claims that he is fortunate enough to get chance of working with such a brilliant director. The show is expected to be broadcasted from the month of January on the popular Star One channel. In this soap he is playing the character of a rich and successful cricketer. The veteran actor Pawan Malhotra and the very gorgeous Rati Agnihotri will be playing the role of his parents.
Dhruv Bhandari is extremely excited about getting such a huge break in the earliest phase of his career. He also claims that it is quite an amazing thing for him to be part of such a huge show with such a brilliant starcast. He further claimed that since a very tender age he has cherished the dream of becoming an actor and knew that it was his calling. Soon after he received a call from Manish who called him for an audition. He could not appear for the auditions, as he was busy preparing for his final year examinations. He went onto meet him later and soon after the deal was sealed.
Dhruv Bhandari also asserts the fact that there is bound to be comparisons with his actor father as he has already proved the audiences what a bundle of talent he is. He is also aware of the fact that people will have a lot of expectations from him and that sometimes scares him. He sounds extremely confident when he remarked in a recent interview, "Hopefully I will be able to do justice to my dad's reputation and deliver my best". This young actor also has dreams of making it big in the Bollywood Film Industry. He inevitably says that his next step would be establishing himself as a successful actor in Bollywood and he would like to take it easy for the moment so that he can groom himself as an all rounder actor.
Dhruv Bhandari is not at all interested in doing crossover films. He just harbors the dream of being a commercial hero who would just dance around the trees and romance the gorgeous damsels and also fight the bad guys when the time comes to save the heroine from the clutches of the evil power. Till the time he can make it really big in the celluloid world he is happy with his roles in the telly world. He would like to wait till the right time comes and then he would just make the whole world surprised by his powerhouse performances in some very performance-oriented roles.
