He claims that this portrayal of his is very similar to the character of Shakuni in the great Indian Epic 'Mahabharata'. His character does not illustrate only negative shades. The audiences are delighted to see him intensely depicting the positivity of his character in the form of over-possessiveness for his nephew Yuvraj' and his sister. He also teams up with his brother-in-law Mansen to scheme malicious plots against his brother-in-law.
Dharmesh Vyas is also seen enacting intense character portrayals in many plays. He claims that he would not give up theater as it acts as his battery-charging machine. He does not have any problems in coping up with both the mediums but he would not leave his plays even more a million. He also holds high regards for the television industry and claims the television industry today is as big as the film industry and the recognition that one gets through the well-sketched characters in both the dailies and weeklies is highly rewarding. He further asserts that the television is indeed in its best phase now. The other soaps in which the character portrayals of this actor has added poignancy are 'Karz', 'Chutki Baja Ke Bassera', 'Hare Kaanch Ki Choodiyan', 'Apnapan', 'Naqab' and 'Parampara'. In spite of such a hectic schedule the actor manages much time for himself. He claims that he wants to enjoy everything in life and loves to spend time acting in which lies the comfort of his innermost soul. Recently he has also wrapped up his last play 'Rapaya Nach Nachare' and is all set to act in another new yet untitled play. This actor has a lot of projects in his pipeline, which will once again behold his splendid acting skills in front of the television lovers as well as theater lovers.
