The Pathar Masjid is popular for its fluted minarets attached to its back wall that are built of red sandstone. Floral designs carved in low relief decorate the ceiling of the mosque resting on pillars.
There is a 'qibla' (the direction of Ka aba in Mecca) in the centre of the western wall. It is flanked on either side by two arched niches inscribed with verses from the Quran.
