A single visit of India enables a person to come across various towns and cities that have flourished by leaps and bounds. The state of Uttar Pradesh too follows the same trend. Amongst several towns that have thronged the state, Kharela deserves to be special mentioning. Kharela is an example of a nagar panchayat town. Strategically , this Kharela town lies approximately between 25.55° N 79.82° E. It has an average height of 145 meters or 475 feet.

Not only male and female population of this Kharela town too can be deciphered from it and that too on individual basis. In other words , male populace constitutes of 54 percent while the population of females is less than that of male . 46 percent constitutes of the female population of Kharela. In Kharela town, 17 percent of the population is below six years of age.
Some light on literacy condition of Kharela too has been thrown in this report. It is mentioned that the rate of average literacy in Kharela is 54 percent. It is lower than 59.5 percent, which is the average literacy rate of the entire nation. If one goes into details one can find that the rate of male literacy is more than that of females. Thus male literacy constitutes of 65 percent while the rate of female literacy is 41 percent only.
