The extremely popular show Chacha Chaudhary was an instant hit with the audiences of all age. It was mainly targeted towards the young viewers but it entertained the old and the young alike. It was started being aired since 13th May. The main aim of the show was to wean away the young viewers form the usual cartoon soaps like 'Tom & Jerry' and 'Mickey Mouse' and instead of that provide them with entertainment stuffs which is purely Indian. In fact this soap found a special corner in the hearts of the audiences who grew up reading the antic comics of Chacha Chaudhary. The antics of Chacha against the malicious characters, the giant feats of Saboo, the red convertible, all adds to the interest of the story.
The producer and the series director of Chacha Chaudhary, Ketan Mehta has always been fascinated by the particular comic series. According to him these particular comics reflects ingenuity and spirit of the Indian subcontinent. He had a long cherished dream of bringing all these fiction characters provide live entertainment and fun to the television viewers. He then met the publisher of the Diamond Comics Gulshan Rai along with whom he made this character and his traits as his television series. Soon after he also got the TV telecast rights of Chacha Chaudhary.
The talented actor Raghunath Yadav who was completely allured by the fiction character essayed the lead role of Chacha Chaudhary. He felt that the character of Chacha Chaudhary had the potential to attract the old and the young viewers alike and this very fact has always fascinated him. As far as the homework is concerned he has been an avid reader of the series of Chacha Chaudhary in his growing years, which in turn helped him to mete out the performance brilliantly. He had this inner feeling within him that the character would achieve a super status in the times to come. He also went by his instincts and depended on the director. Over all Chacha Chaudhary was a brilliant show and such fiction shows are expected to be aired on the small screen at frequent intervals.
