The star attraction of the show Kaboom, however remains to be the superstar Prabhu Deva, who has been honored with National Awards for his dancing talents. He at once agreed to act as the judge of the show as all of them share the same passion called 'dance'. It is in fact his first television venture and also considered himself to be very fortunate that he got the offer to judge the best dancing talents of India. The show searched for talents from all the four zones and zeroes in on the best dancer. Both men and women solo category in the age group of 14 to 30 was one of the main features of the show. The format of the show was also tuned keeping in mind all the pros and cons. Initially the participants were told to bring in their own costumes but in the later stages they were provided by the production house. The popularity of Kaboom on screen was limited to a certain section of audience. However the glamour of the show was multiplied when renowned Bollywood stars like Sridevi, Vivek Oberoi and Tabassum were invited on the show as judges. The only difference between 'Boogie Woogie' and this show is the huge prize booty. Their only aim is to bring the talents from all the nook and corners of the country whose talents otherwise gets wasted due to lack of opportunity. Over all it was a great show encouraging the budding talents to prove their potentials. |
