Located in the city of Thruvananthapuram in the state of Kerala, the Natural History Museum was established in the year 1857, the year of the great Sepoy Mutiny in India. Keeping no relation with the Sepoy Mutiny, this museum is a fascinating sight seeing of the museum lovers.
As the name suggests, this museum depicts illustrations of the local fauna, customs of the people of Kerala and other objects related to geology, etc.
The museum welcomes tourists to enjoy its possessions from 10am to 4:45pm except on Mondays and Wednesday forenoon and some other holidays.
