Manamadurai is a 'panchayat town' situated in the Sivaganga district of the southern state of India, Tamil Nadu. It is about 30 km. south of the Sivaganga, the district headquarters city. Strategically, located on NH 49, Tiruppuvanam is located at a distance of 26 km from Manamadurai and the temple city of Madurai is located in the northwest of the town at a distance of 48 km. The nearest railway station is the Manamadurai Junction Railway Station on the Sivagangai Ramanathapuram rail line of the Southern Railways. Geographically, it is located between 9.7° North latitude and 78.48° East longitude at a height of 70 metres (229 feet) above mean sea level.
