Jiwan Pur, also known as Johri Pur is a census town in North East Delhi district in Delhi. As per the Indian census report of 2001, Jiwan Pur had a population of 20,765. Males and females account for 54% and 46% of the population. In Jiwan Pur, 18% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of Jiwan Pur is 67% which is higher than the national average literacy rate which is 59.5 percent. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 75 percent and the female literacy rate is 58%.
