Ethnological Museum is located inside the campus of Lucknow University. The Museum is under the department of Anthropology of that University.
To preserve the ethnographic elements of Uttar Pradesh and other neighboring states Ethnological Museum was established in the year of 1951.These museum contains various types of Ethnographic, prehistoric, archaeological, paleoanthropological items.
Ethnological Museum, Lucknow also houses weapons, objects of transport, dresses, stone tools, and many plaster models. This museum is open on all days from 11 A.M. TO 5 P.M. It remains closed in the month of May and June.
