Situated in the Morena district of the central state of India, Madhya Pradesh Jhundpura is a town and a nagar panchayat. The Indian Census report, which came out in 2001, states that Jhundpura had a small population of 8110. Males and females account for 55% and 45% of the population. The average literacy rate of Jhundpura is 49%, which is much lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. To be specific, the male literacy rate in Jhundpura is 62% and the female literacy rate is 32%. In Jhundpura, 19% of the population is less than six years of age.
