Jaipal Singh Munda was born on January 3, 1903 .He was the student of St. Paul School at Ranchi. In his first part of life he was a hockey player.In 1928 India won gold in the Summer Olympics in Amsterdam when he was the captain.Later he became the leader of Adivasi tribes.He raised his voice to create a separate living place for the Adivasis in Central India.
Jaipal Singh Munda, also worked for the development of scheduled tribes.He was the founder president of Adivasi Mahasabha.In 1946 he was selected as the member of Constituent Assembly of India. He passed away on March 20th in the year 1970
