Itaunja is a town and a nagar panchayat in Lucknow district of the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Geographically, the town is located between 27.08° North latitude and 80.92° East longitude at a height of 124 metres (406 feet) above mean sea level.
As per the 2001 India census report, Itaunja had a small population of 6249.Males and females account for 54% and 46% of the population. In Itaunja, 15% of the population is less than six years of age. The census report also states the literacy rate of Itaunja. Itaunja has a literacy rate of 61% which is higher than the national average literacy rate is 59.5%. Out of it, the male literacy rate is 66% and female literacy rate is 54%.
