Iklehra is a census town in Chhindwara district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. Strategically, Iklehra is placed at an average elevation of 457 metres (1499 feet) above mean sea level and geographically it is located between 23.15° North latitude and 76.38° East longitude.
The 2001 India census report states that Iklehra had a small population of 9206. Males constitute 52% of the population and females account for 48% of the population. In Iklehra, 12% of the population is less than six years of age. The average literacy rate of Iklehra as stated in the 2001 India census report is 67%. This is a progressive trend because the national average literacy rate is 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 76% and the female literacy rate is 58%.
