The Gun Carriage Factory is a census town in Jabalpur district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The Gun Carriage Factory was started in 1904 and is engaged in manufacturing gun parts, mounting, shells and a variety of other product for war purpose.
The Census Report Of India published in 2001 states that G. C. F. Jabalpur had a population of 15,274. The town has an average literacy rate of 84%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 88% and the female literacy rate is 80%.
