Ghughuli is a town and a Nagar Panchayat situated in Maharajganj district in the Uttar Pradesh state of India. It is near to Gorakhpur which is home to many historic Buddhist sites. It is also very close to the Indo-Nepal border. Agriculture is the basic source of income for most of the people of this town. The primary language of this town is Bhojpuri. However, other languages like Hindi and English are also used for communication. Football, Cricket and Badminton are the main sports of this town.
