Ghorsala is a census town in Murshidabad district of the eastern state of India, West Bengal. According to the 2001 India census report, Ghorsala had a small population of 6252 inhabitants. Males and females constitute an equal proportion of the population. Nineteen percent of the population is les than six years of age. The literacy rate of this town is 50%, which is lower than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 56% and the female literacy rate is 44%.
