According to the 2001 India census report, Gharoli had a population of 68,978 inhabitants. Males constitute 56% of the population and females constitute 44% of the population. In Gharoli, 17% of the population is less than six years of age. Gharoli has an average literacy rate of 70%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 75% and the female literacy rate is 64%.
