 Gariadhar is a city and a taluka headquarters in the Bhavnagar district of the western state of India, Gujarat. It is bounded by Sakhpur in the west, Parodi and Dedarda in the east and Akolda and Ranigam in the south. The Bhavnagar Airport is the nearest airport and the Palitana Railway Station is the nearest railhead. It is located between 21.53° North latitude and 71.58° East longitude at an average elevation of 83 metres (272 feet) above mean sea level.
According to 2001 India census report, Gariadhar had a population of 30,520 inhabitants. Males constitute 52% of the population and females constitute 48% of the population. In Gariadhar, 15% of the population is less than six years of age. Gariadhar has an average literacy rate of 65% which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 73% and the female literacy rate is 56%.
Shatrunjaya Hill, the Jain Temples, Chaumukh Temple, Shri Adishwara Temple, Shrine of Angar Pir and 108 Samvasaran Mandir at Palitana are some of the tourist destinations in the neighbourhood.
