Ravichandran Ashwin is a right-handed batsman of Tamil Nadu Cricket team. He was born on September 17, 1986 in Chennai (earlier Madras), Tamil Nadu. He has also played for the Tamil Nadu Under-14 Cricket team.

Ravichandran Ashwin has played in altogether nine "First-class" matches with an average of 22.23. His total score in these matches is 289 runs, which includes two half-centuries and 42 fours. The highest score in any of the "First-class" matches is 51 runs and his striking rate is 43.52.
