West Bengal Cricketers are one of the most talented and wonderful players of India.

West Bengal is one of the states where Cricket is very popular. This credit may go to Saurav Ganguly, the most successful captain of team India till today, who is also from Bengal. Apart from him, West Bengal has given many other talented players like Ranadeb Ranjit Bose, Laxmi Ratan Shukla, Rohan Gavaskar, Murtaza Lodhgar, Devang Gandhi and many more other strong cricketers. The West Bengal Cricket team has won the "Ranji Trophy" twice in 1938/39 and 1989/90. While, the team became runner up in these matches for eight times in 1936/37, 1943/44, 1955/56, 1958/59, 1971/72, 1993/94, 2005/06 and in 2006/07. In West Bengal most of the international Cricket matches were played at the Eden Garden, Kolkata. Some of the renowned cricketers of West Bengal Cricket team are:
