Tsokum Festival, NagalandTsokum Festival is celebrated by the Khiamniungan Tribe of Tuensang District in Nagaland, during the month of October. It is associated with harvesting of crops. The festival is an occasion when permission is granted for the right to harvest and to test new crops. Each warrior of the village displays his hunted animals during the festival.

Tsokum is one of the most important and significant festivals which is celebrated with great pomp and gaiety. It is a weeklong celebration that lasts for 8 days by performing different forms of rites and rituals.
