Ooty
Ooty is also known as the Queen of Hill Stations in India and it is one of the prime tourist importances in Coonoor. Ooty is located at about 19 km northwest of Coonoor. Sim`s Park
Sim`s Park is an important place to visit in Coonoor. This amusement park is spread in an area of 12 hectare of land. The park has a collection of over 1,000 plant species, including magnolia, pines, tree ferns, and camellia. The botanical garden of Sim"s Park is partly developed in the Japanese style and derived its name from J. D. Sim, the secretary of the Madras Club in the year 1874. The key attraction of this amusement park is the annual fruit and vegetable show held in May.

Dolphin`s Nose Viewpoint

Now it produces Tissue Culture Anti Rabies Vaccine (TCARV) and the DPT group of vaccines.
