The tajjayat prajnalokah sutra speaks about the state, when mastery has been achieved in samyama. One is suddenly showered with a light of awareness and is gifted with a keen sixth sense. One`s brilliance of wisdom and understanding radiates splendidly, and every cognitive power turns sharper and potent. Compared to other humans with ordinary intelligence, a samyami is much nearer to the known.

alokah light, lustre, insight
From mastery of samyama comes the light of awareness and insight.
When mastery of integration (samyama) is achieved, the splendour of wisdom and insight shines brilliantly, harmonising the known with the knowable and revealing the soul.
Awareness and cognition become firmer and sharper by direct spiritual perception.
Ordinarily, human intelligence flutters from object to object and from place to place, making it impossible to interpenetrate fully into any one thing. In samyama, the knower comes closer and closer to the known and, unifying in it, loses his separateness.
