The Sri Chennakesavaswamy Festival has been celebrated for the past three years. It is celebrated for nine days from Maggha Suddha Padyani to Navami( January-February). Arrangements are made eight days prior to the festival. There are a number of rituals which are observed during the course of this festival. These are- Abhishekam, Ankurapana, Dhwajarohana, Thirukalyanam, Sevas, Pushparatham, Rathothsavam, Sakatothsavam and Chakratheertham.

During this time, coconuts, fruits and flowers are offered in addition to silver replicas of eyes, bells etc in fulfilment of vows.
