Shweta Bachhan- Nanda, Daughter Of Amitabh BachhanShweta Bachchan-Nanda is the daughter of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan and sister to Abhishek Bachchan. She was born in 1974. In 2005, Shweta walked the ramp for AIDS awareness with her parents and her brother. The show gained a huge popularity and was attended by many celebrities. She is a Citizen Journalist by profession with the Indian News Channel, CNN IBN.

She is married to the son of Ritu Nanda, the industrialist, Nikhil Nanda. Her mother in law is the daughter of film legend Raj Kapoor and Rajan Nanda. Nikhil and Shweta are Delhi-based and have two lovely children - Navya Naveli and Agastya Nanda.

Shweta hosted NextGen, which is a series of interview-based shows aired on NDTV Profit, a private Television Channel. For fitness reasons, Shweta and her husband Nikhil practice Krav Maga, the Israeli form of fitness and Self defense.
