Shiva is Hindu mythological character portrayed in the Indian comics series titled Shiva: The Legends of The Immortal (Book 1), published and distributed by Mumbai based, Vimanika Comics. Lord Shiva is the prime figure of the divine Trinity of Hindu Gods, which also includes Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. Lord Brahma is the creator; Lord Vishnu is the preserver and Lord Shiva is venerated as a spiritual guide and destroyer of creation. Vimanika Comics, a Golden Cursor award winning Comics Publisher in India, has launched the comics in order to provide a detailed account of the legend of Shiva. The storyline is based on well researched content, illustrated with stylized artwork and digitally enhanced graphics and colours.
Lord Shiva is believed to have taught Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu about the Vedas in order to facilitate the entire process of creation. Lord Shiva is considered as the archetype of spiritualism, devotion and Vedic knowledge.
