Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Kathakali Dance

Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Kathakali Dance is an award given by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. It is the highest Indian recognition given to practicing artists. Some of the Kathakali Dancer Awardees are Kalamandalam M.P.S. Namboodiri, K. Kunhiraman Nair, Kalamandalam Ramachandran Unnithan, Madambi Subramanian and many others.
