Sahitya Akademi Award in SindhiSahitya Akademi Awards in Sindhi literature have undoubtedly brought in umpteen kudos and respect to special and gifted literary persons, however remaining in absense in the years comprising 1960, 1961, 1962, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1975, 1977 and 1992. Sahitya Akademi Awards began ist journey in 1954, willing to felicitate and award a particular sum of Indian money and a plaque to the most outstanding and extraordinary literary personality and his/her composition to Indian regional literature, in one of the 24 acknowledged languages in Indian Constitution.
