Sadacharas is a term which is a synonym used to describe the various ways of leading a pious life. Sadacharas is also referred to as a dharma which should be followed by every man. Sadacharas indicates spiritual and moral thinking. The guidelines followed are fixed observances, consisting of daily purifications, ablutions, libations, and oblations; hospitality, obsequies rites, ceremonies to be observed at meals, at morning and evening worship, and on going to rest. Some of the other Sadacharas are right attitude while serving God and the activities for the various Varnas.
Sadachara Smriti is a poetic work which consists of hymns on Pious Living. This is a work by Sri Madhvacharya, the founder of the Dvaita philosophy. Sadachara Smriti consist about thirty-five Slokas.
